Edinburgh & Places for a First Meeting

This blog entry is more of a question really.

Where do you usually meet someone for the first time?

Do you prefer somewhere central(in a city), far from home, or local? Do you meet during the day or in the evening?

Alone or do you take a friend with you? Do you choose a coffee shop, pub, club art gallery or museum?

Do you go for a local haunt, somewhere with which you are familiar or unknown?

What do you prefer?

I find that a local pub/coffee shop is a good place to go for that first meet.

You are in your own territory and if you are not attracted to the person you are going to meet, then you can escape to woolworths or menzies, etc.

Dont do what i once did & invite that person directly to your house.
Ok, its good for the seduction scenario, but its crap, if the person you are meeting is scary & a loony too.

I had to pretend that i was shy & quiet to get rid of him. Funnily enough, he came from Edinburgh, lol

Good luck with your meets & at least if you meet during the day, you get to see, if they have a guide dog/wooden leg/glass eye
