Recycled Profiles

I have no idea what women see when they look at men's profiles. I know what I see when I look at women's profiles, and what I see is that some significant percentage of them use the very same lines. It is almost as if the profiles were created by machine, just stringing random sentences together.

Here are some examples of some of the lines (actual excerpts from profiles):

"I'm the type who's prepared to fuck you senseless before we exchange phone numbers. Or names. Hey there! I'm an easy going, nonjudgmental girl who's looking for new things to try out. I'm your typical busy professional, but what I have in mind doesn't take a lot of time. For me a perfect Friday night is looking for adventure-and finding it."

"I'm your typical busy professional, but what I have in mind doesn't take a lot of time. I'm the type who's restless in normal life. I need to find something unusual to wake me up. For me a perfect date is one where we head out with a plan, but we go where the night takes us. "

"Hey there! I'm an easy going, nonjudgmental girl who's looking for new things to try out. I'm your typical fuck-and-forget date. No time for Love, Dr. Jones! I'm the type who's rarely the first to make a move, but once things are moving, I'm really something else. "

So what's the deal with this? Are these artificial people? Is this AdultFriendFinder's idea of a professionally-written profile?

Someone suggested to me that these are fake profiles that AdultFriendFinder creates to make the numbers look good. The thing is, I seem to remember actually chatting with one of the people attached to these profiles... Who knows...

Any answers?

(I really get a kick out of the one that says "I'm a real crowd-pleaser")

AK49, none of those phrases appear on my profile. I suspect the stock phrases like "I'm an easy going, nonjudgemental girl..." are from the suggestions provided by this and other sites on how to create your profile. I have no desire to please the crowd. My goal is to please my partner.
