Starting to feel old

Well for some reason or another, every thing I do lately makes me feel old. I shouldn't feel old, after all I am only 26... well very nearly 27 but who's counting?

I wake up and look around me... A house in the burbs with a mortgage, a car with payments and insurance, 2 children and a dog, a wife, and all the trappings of family life.

Don't get me wrong, I am quite happy with the things I have and the achievements that I have made. However, I can't help but being reminded that all of these things are things I always said I would have when I was older... and now I am.

The down side to all of this is that now I am wondering... is this what a mid life crisis is? If so then what do I do when I actually reach mid life? You can't really have 2 mid life crisis in 1 life. Then again can you really have a mid life crisis before mid life?

Well I guess those are thoughts for another day.

Bye for now.

there is no reason to feel old. Trust me, if you keep feeling young, you will be. Myself, I'm 33 now, and on my b-day I felt a bit old as I did old things. I sat around, did basically nothing, but watch TV (I think I actually watched wheel of fortune...and I don't like that show).

Now I try to do more youthful things...well, not totally youthful, but younger things. I'm heading to the fetish fair on Saturday, that always helps..
