Shallow GAL

I like to travel on my catamaran, dive into the depths of the ocean, snorkel off the Great North Wall, watch sea turtles and play with the schools of brightly colored fish. Recently, I found myself playing at the shallow end of a swimming pool with a whole new group that wasn’t even worthy of being called a school. They were not deep fishes, they were more like plastic buckets and small shovels that everyone seemed to discard at the end of the day. So what made me wade in these waters? What made me stay and visit for as long as I did? Then . . . what made me swim back out to the ocean? While playing in the kiddie pool can be fun for awhile, I don’t belong there. Some of us can be content wading through the shallow yet safe places in life as others look to save us when we fall or get our noses full. Then, there are others of us that need to keep swimming, reaching for more in the depths of life, overturning new rocks and discovering new life that couldn’t be found in a chlorinated cesspool. So why do I sometimes miss my red, plastic bucket?

Maybe the red bucket takes you to a safer, simpler place, and whilst its fun and relaxing to be safe and comfortable for a while, you still need to explore new places and experiences in order to evolve and grow.

if life wasnt about going out and finding new experinces than a person would get board. sometimes it good to switch it up every now and than, try something new. who Knows you might like it you might not, but it is a least always a try.
