I'm usually not one to write introspectively, as I am entertaining, eclectic and more than devoted to my friend, companion or business associate, as the case may be. Perhaps I developed this attitude because I am Alabama born and Alabama bred, and the extroverted lifestyle that defines the true Alabamian cannot now exist legitimately and still maintain its truthful essence. The facade or veneer that defines the phony is something I try to penetrate decisively and quickly in fairness to each of us. I believe that time is too precious a commodity to be squandered in pursuit of a chimera. Nothing seems so wasteful to me as time and emotion expended in a relationship that may be predicated, even in part, upon deception. For this reason look for nothing fancy or artificial in me at first blush. I am an earthy woman, uncowed by much and certainly mature and experienced enough to state my mind clearly. I do not generally observe social niceties calculated to protect too easlily injured feelings. While I may write as you read here, there is nothing contrived or formal about my natural persona. If you express an interest in me I am flattered, but you should prepare for a challenging experience. Your true self can run but can't hide for long, so save us both some time and aggravation, and give free reign to yourself, warts, demons and all. You'll see and understand me and mine in nano-seconds, and I'll discover yours soon enough. So gird your loins and take a chance. I don't dissapoint.
