I have been on this site since Nov. 2003. I have met so many great people here. Some that are nice enough to call my friends. But sadly enough no match yet. So we keep trying. My family and my cat are the most important part of my life but they don't monopolize it. My family went thru a major upset with me in Feb 2011, with me that was very life changing. I caught the h1n1 virus along with having a very bad case of pneumonia. I was hospitalized for a month, 3wks of which were in a coma after dieing with paramedics & in the ER. Because of that there is some leg muscle damage and lung damage but nothing I can't handle. I am still a per that is thankful to be here and don't want to be treated like something different. Get to know me, talk to me. I am the same per I have always been before I got sick just have a walker and oxygen when up and about. a yr and 2wks after having h1n1 I was diagnosed with stage 3 renal failure. all I need to do is change my diet and have done so. the word that go with this are what and how I am also. Now let me tell you somethings that describe me. Because of my lenient and complacent nature, people tend to take advantage of me. I am a traditionalist, don't like sudden decisions about where to go or what to do, prefer to think things out. I have strong attachments; don't like being the center of attention; love a warm, friendly environment free of conflict or hostility; I am loyal to others; I tend to internalize conflict; These are my strengths: very sincere in actions and words; very supportive of other people; very respectful of the needs and wants of others; good at cooling down tense situations in a relationship; dependable and caring partner; generally very patient with people; take pride in being loyal to friends and family; good at helping others; tend to bring feelings of security and stability to a relationship; tend to be a very calming influence; slow to make real ties with relationships. Best saying is: Beauty is not just on the outside, Beauty comes from the inside and with that the outer Beauty will come out!! Yes I believe that the outer looks don't really matter, it is what is inside that counts. Your perality, the per that you are and how you treat people.::heart::

My Ideal Person I would like to find someone who is stable mentally, financially, and emotionally. He should be understanding, compassionate, caring, love kids, be there when his partner needs him for support. He should also like some of the same things that I like. He should also be understanding when it comes to my family they are first but that they don't monopolize my life. My Needs: no sudden or abrupt changes in the situation; clear responsibility and clear lines of who make decisions; peace and harmony; time and opportunity to weigh pros and cons of decisions; time to react to new ideas and sudden change; an environment relatively free of conflict; identification with your social group; protection or insulation for aggression or confrontation; activities that may involve friends; recognition of your loyalty; prefer things the way they are. I do not play head games with people and do not like them played on me. Honesty is important to me between 2 people.
I know I have put a lot on the plate but when you have been hurt as many times as I have you have to be careful. My preference is between 55-65yrs of age also If you can handle this, email me sometime..
