Live in Daejeon, and travel around (usually to Seoul) on weekends. ---------------- Nationality: Canadian, from Niagara Falls; been in Korea for 13 years. I currently teach Tourism Management and some English at a university in Daejeon, but I travel about every weekend (usually to Seoul) because Daejeon is so boring I could cry. Perality: I'm serious at work, but like to laugh and be silly at other times, adventurous, like holding hands and hugs, I'm a thrill-seeker, and prefer cats to dogs. I also crave quiet times and warm buddies. Not actively looking for a relationship, but I won't object if feelings develop along the way. Free time and hobbies: drinking and dancing in Hongdae (maybe once a month or more), noraebang, DVDs, reading, napping, writing stories, billiards, Japanese Pro-wrestling (joshi puroresu), photography, shopping, music ("Loveholic", "Cherry Filter", "Jaurim", classic rock, dance music, jazz/swing), and cyworld. Sports: I play and teach skiing, rugby, rowing, triathlons, and squash (although, I admit I've been a little lazy here in Korea). Rollerblading is cool, too. Languages: English(native), French(so-so), Korean(good), Japanese(poor). My reading and writing skills are always stronger than my foreign speaking and listening skills, especially in Korean and Japanese. Romance: picnic in the park, walk along the riverside, cuddled up watching a DVD, soft massages with candlelight and sweet aroma candles, enjoying a day together at an amusement park (riding rollercoasters!)
