I've been on here a while now and finding it difficult to come to terms with a couple of things: Rant #1. This is a Website where things are kept private and discrete. For varying reas we all have a need to disclose peral information only to those with whom we feel comfortable...true? If it weren't, our names here would be our real names. So why would I show my face pic in the very first instance of contact, to someone I've not even chatted online with? If that was the case I may as well just put my name, face, and address on the opening profile. Slightly strange when you also note that often the people asking for it rarely have themselves volunteered a face pic (Sure, some have, but I'm finding that is the exception). Rant #2 Yes I'm married, and I've been open about that in my profile, and that it is an unusual situation. There's several people in the same boat. I can understand that some women don't wish to have contact with a married man. But would it seem a bit hypocritical when a married woman doesn't want contact with a married man? I don't get that. Am is this coming across harsh? It's not meant to. I REALLY would just like to understand.
