Bling are small icons that you can use to show off your personality on your profile or blog/group posts.
You can get bling either by creating it yourself, getting bling as a gift or by taking it from
the profiles of bling creators. Bling taken by others are shown with a link to the
creator of the bling - so the more people who use your bling, the more links you get back to your profile!

Bling gives you another way to connect with other members and show your personal sense of style and humor. You get noticed by more people when others use your Bling and automatically link to your profile. You can earn lots of points as a skilled Bling artist, and make friends too!

How can I find Bling?
You can search for Bling using tags, or search for the newest or most popular Bling.
How do I create Bling?
You can create Bling online using the Bling editor. Each Bling must be unique and owned by the creator.
How many Bling can I create?
You can create as many bling as you like, however only the newest 100 will be displayed.
How large are Bling?
You can create Bling in a 20x20 pixel size.
How do I set the price for my Bling?
If you want to charge for your created Bling, you can enter the number of points needed to buy your Bling.
How do I add tags to Bling?
Adding tags makes your Bling easy to find when members search for Bling using tags. When you create Bling, you are given a field to enter one or more tag words, separated by commas. Choose words that describe your Bling by subject or category for best results.
How do I take Bling?
When you find Bling that you like, you can take the Bling by clicking the Take Bling link. If there is a cost for the Bling, the price will show in a window confirming that you want it. If the Bling is private or for friends only, you won't be able to take that Bling.
How do I see who took my Bling?
On the manage Bling page, all of the members who took your Bling are listed by handle. You can click and find out more about them or chat about Bling.
How do I control who can take my Bling?
When you create Bling, there is a field to make the Bling private, for friends only, or public.
How do I gift Bling?
When you view someone's profile, you can click on "Give Bling" and gift Bling that you have created to that member.
What do I do with gifted Bling?
You are free to accept or decline a Bling gift. If you accept, the Bling will link to the creator of the Bling wherever you place it. Accepting Bling is free and easy.
How do I see who has given me Bling?
All of the Bling you have received as a gift is shown on the Manage Bling page. You can click through to the profile of the giver, and send a thank you with some Bling in exchange.
