A Change

Do the people you choose to be around really have anything to do with how you percieve life? YES! Until now I thought only I could control my outlook on life! That's pretty much true! I am a very headstrong person! But, I've met someone that really has helped with every aspect of my thinking! I believe it is because we think in the same manner, alot! So, you can say we compliment each other! But, have you ever met someone you're attracted to and just hate being around them because they always bring you down. I will not put myself in that type of atmosphere! I have never met such a positive person as myself, until now! People, I'm telling you that you can control happiness! You can choose to be the happiest person in the world. It really has to do with what you allow to come into your space! What do you think?

To be succesful in life or anything for that matter you must surround yourself with the positive and avoid the negative. Even if you are attracted to that negative...

For the most part, I think you're right. There are a lot of factors that can shape your outlook, but certainly the outlook of those around you has an influence on how you feel. But you also have to be responsible for your own happiness internally; I once went out with a girl who couldn't do that, and she would be miserable if I was in a bad mood - even though she had no reason to feel that way in and of herself.

How you view life is often governed more by what other people do, say and think than most people can imagine. If we all simply followed our own line without thinking about anyone else - egocentric - life would be a chaos that no one could control. But every single film that we see, each book we read, each piece of music we hear, each conversation we hold alters us in some small way; changes our conception of the world, of society, of the person we are talking to.

You've stumbled upon a 'secret' to life that many never figure out. I congratulate you for that. It will help you live your life to the fullest and avoid the negative stress that can sabotage your goals. Seek out those that compliment you and your personality. Associate with those that energize you and avoid the energy 'suckers' at all costs.

Have Fun,

PS - you have smokin' legs... LOVE your pic.

The greatest love isnt how u can change that person.. its what you can change for that person, n this they will realise and see. (hopefully) if you believe that this person isnt worth changing for ... then the quetsion is "do you love enough?"

I agree, having negative people around is a toxic way to live. It takes courage to permanently remove these kinds of people from your life ‒ especially if they are family members, spouses, or grown offspring.

Sure, happiness is a choice, but I’ve found that happiness is relative. Some people like conflict, co-dependency, the oh poor me’s, etc. Other’s don’t.
