Older men

Why is it that many women, even those just a few years younger are only interested in younger men? Men my age (fifty eight) can still function and remember that like a fine wine that gets better with age so do many men and we have the experience that goes with age and know what to do and how to treat a women.

Spazin, you could be right on the married. I was a widower and married too soon to a nice lady that does not share my interest in sex after we were married. She said she liked it but actions speak louder than words and all I got was words.

Thanks for your kind words hornball and theirs a lot to be said for an older man helping to please a younger women. I have found that a younger woman can make a man feel like he was in his 20’s again. Of course it helps if he never did grow up and still thinks he is younger.

I had always preffered older men to younger....several of my past relationships were with men at least 20-25 years older than myself, those men knew how to treat a lady and did not disapoint!!!! Now I'm married, but if I wasn't I would totally look at older guys before younger ones to get involved with...

There is a little bit of a glitch for me, I want someone a LITTLE BIT older than me, but not too much thats the perfect mix I think. someone with experience and an idea of what true romance is, that still wants kids (I do) and who still holds some of the ideals I do. A person who is half way to meeting all thier goals, which gives you an idea of what they are like and what they want, yet haven't gotten as far as they want, who no longer feel the need for children, an exciting or adventerous life, ect. I've dated the gammit from (marginally) younger of much older and found good and bad things in both. But I guess it's each ones prefrence.

Wanting a man that is close your age is a goal you set for all the right reasons. When I was in my 20’s I wanted to have a wife and children, now I am older and know I would not want to father a child that when it got to be 20 I would be 78 years old. We need to have children when we are younger so we can be there for them. I have 2 sons and as we grew older they went from my sons to my best friends, though they will always be my sons. We do a lot of guy things together and now that they are starting their own families we do family things also. I have wonderful grandchildren, though I never thought of me being a grandfather as they were always those old men. I have been fairly successful in life and achieved many things, a nice home with a big yard, my hobbies, antique autos, sailboats, a big workshop for me to play with my toys in (not the ones attached to me but my tools as I love to build and repair/restore things), I have know great love and then lost it and still have a hopeful attitude that I will preserve through all life’s up and downs. One other thing, from the time I was about 10 I said I never wanted to grow old and so far I have been able to keep that desire if only in my mind, though the body is doing OK as I still have all the original parts and they are not worn out yet.

SPAZIN, you sound like my kind of lady. What kind of bike do you have there. Wouldn't be a Harly would it? And is that your truck you are next to? You bring back some of the best memories of my life. Memories of Lori, a close friend that rode a Harley. Her mate was about 40 years senior and she had a P/U truck with a swordfish bill in the gun rack She was a fantastic woman. Lost track of her somewhere and would love to find her again. She was the first mate on a riverboat and the Captain was her man. Wonderful people, wonderful memories. Wish I could locate them again.

You know, it is funny...my whole life i have preferred older men but as i get there, they seem to prefer younger than i am. I am close enough to you that i have experienced the same things and maybe even a few more.A gentle man and gentleman is ageless.

handle swt16nomore, I did not want the sweet 16 girl then or now. Experience is a great teacher and I have found I prefer the experienced ones.

I am 35yo and always liked older men. I don愒 have the right answer what is that, but i don愒 feel attracted by younger men. I think age is in the mind, you must be ok with yourself before all those things.
