Protein, tasty or not

Now before any neanderthal simpleton struts in with, "I got a protein shake for ya baby" etc etc,

So I`m up for trying a new bar, checking out these ones without all the carbohydrates which would just go to my already winter weight thighs for what I use them. You can get some great munchies bars but all those carbs, phew!

It`s always a trial and error with flavour and I actually was daring, took the word of the sales person and bought a box of these low carb bars. Grabbed a couple of singles in other flavours, but she is right..for once. They are yummy and there is no yukky aftertaste.

I find it slightly amusing the names of the flavours. It`s as if they`re trying to fit in as much of a description to appeal to as many as possible....Double dutch choc fudge, wow what a mouthful. You know what, of the 4 flavours, this was the most boring and tasteless to me. Choco coconut brownie, now that was nice.

So that`s snack time taken care of, might cost more, but wasn`t part of giving up smoking so I could afford to indulge myself more...I say YES!

OH, hi, um, well fat loss, which is what we really are after The ones in the picture are kind of like the ones I`m talking of, Horleys Carb Less, but I think they have the carbs, and if you search around you can get discounts.

The idea is you need the protein but if ur not going to be exercising or being active and ur hungry/nibbly, you can have a protein bar. Thus having 5/6 small meals a day gets ur metabolism going and the protein makes you feel fuller, less chance of binging. But you don`t eat more than say 2 a day or you`ll be going to the toilet a lot. Pretty sure these guys have a distributor in Malaysia in Selangor Same brand have stuff for us ladies specifically called Sculpt, I haven`t tried the bar yet, it`s more of a rice crispy wafer type she said. Hope helpful.

I`m not sure how well known Horleys is overseas???? It`s made in New Zealand and the one in the picture isn`t that brand, though is like Carb Less, but that one has that yukky aftertaste. I found I could never have it as a snack or meal supplement I could only have it after a session at the gym or the taste was vile. Carb Less in the brownie flavour isn`t like that for me.

That`s like protein powder for me, I only like one of the Musashi brand, the rest are all greasy and if I don`t shove some in a blender with juice, berries and ice etc, I can`t stand the taste!

Thanks for dropping in ladies

LOL, that`s kind of what we did too HARDAZZ And the great thing also about Carb Less unbelievably under 4grams of sugar, and tastes so good!

So I just read your profile and brought back a memory, I had one guy from AdultFriendFinder and he stopped me from f**king him back!! So, can you send one over like you, for me, that will let me, and not be such an ignorant or a whinging useless blind lump in the sack? The perverts and not doers are piling up here in Brisbane.

Peace, love and spank my arse

If you ever get a chance try some of the Atkins protein bars. They were one of the best for taste and variety (depending on the flavour, some had a bitter aftertaste) They use Maltitol which can upset certain ppls tummies. I think they have about 3 grams of carbs.

I've gone from a 3 meals a day, to a protein shake (Redback) for brekky & dinner + std lunch (and fruit inbetweens).

I'm finding I have more energy - and dont fall asleep during sex anymore [only kidding]

Carb Less has 4 grams of carbs and less sugar, found at least 2 great flavours without aftertaste and I can get a dozen for $40, I`ll stick with them, thanks anyway

Energy, lol, I fell asleep in the sun today for about 30 minutes...

Ive tryed those, and others, but now I make my own, then I can exclude all the sugars and other fillers. You should try to take in at least 40g of protein a meal, so 20 something a snack would be good.Eating six small meals a day is better for you than 3 large ones.
Eating protein is like cheating because you burn 25% of the calories digesting it. So with a good multi-vitamin, an ECA stack, proper diet and excercise, and lots of water, you should be in tip top health, and ready to play. Thankyou for the comments, about my pic. The thighs, winter or whatever, look great.

Can`t say enuff good things about corn thins and cottage cheese either, though you lucky devils overseas get no fat CC, that`s not in our supermarkets And I have to chase around decent chili salmon...I would love that bodybuilders restaurant they have I think at muscle beach.

Thanks all for dropping in

Whoops! Got a little carried away with that last xpleetv*
Seriously it's so much work keeping a certain protein uptake
for all those serious in muscle & body maintenance.
But look at that BUTT! Oh..did it again.
Nice work. Nice working with it.

wetta....Damn and to think I always wanted to come visit Brisbane,Maybe now I have more of a reason. Protein shakes are a staple, I always purchase Vanilla because you can mix anything with it and I do.... yogurt...berries...bananas..any fruit....peanut butter...etc...etc.
LOL, well that could work for me, but only as a bandaid affect to a daily vitamin problem

Yeah vanilla goes with everything but cafe latte is so much more adventurous. Certainly an interesting taste with berries, juice and yogurt, on top of oats or my maple flavoured granola

Mmm, well I have a good daily multi vitamin, as to the thermogenic/anorectic deal, I just loathe to take all these pills and supplements, tried the grapefruit juice, guarana, caffeine thingy, even that Thermogen but the stupid instructions said 5ml, should be 10 for real results. As to 40g of protein a meal, well, I`m just gonna leave all that and the triple stackers and stuff to you blokes. I have my plan, I`ll see how I go this time.. Good Lord what is that noise..someone has a weed whacker out at this time of the morning
