Ya learn something new every day

Valuable insights all around us if we open our minds and take them in. Here on this service, for example. I allowed myself to be lured here by the prospect of meeting interesting women for casual intimate encounters. However, after about a week of 0 responses to my profile (except for the sleazy boilerroom operator that was trying to get me to sign up for some other service), I've adjusted my expectations a bit...and (this might be obvious to many here, but I guess I'm slow) I'm finding there's way more to this than cheap thrills. Reading through some of these profiles (the ones that are real, anyway), I get insights into what moves people that would otherwise remain buried under layers of guilt/baggage/ego/who knows what. That alone is worth the price of admission.

So off I go to enjoy my 4th of July weekend, without feeling too bad about the fact that I have yet to receive a single (legitimate) email

And this post would not be complete without mentioning that my 4th will be spent taking in fireworks at Coors Field after watching the Rox spank Barry Bonds and the Giants.

Ouch ... okay so my boys haven't been playing as well as they should that is no reason to display the upcoming game in blogville spanking. Not only that, the Giants are not just Bonds you know ... they were an entity long before he ever became a part of the crew. Especially to us long-time fans of the team, back in the day when the Giants did some spanking of thier own ... back when Will the Thrill Clark was playing 1st and Kevin Mitchell was in the outfield, Robbie Thompson covered 2nd and that sexy Matt Williams was handling 3rd. But, I digress...

Ah, Sinful! A lady that clearly knows and loves the game...you've found a place in my heart

Oh but the last time the Giants were really the GIANTS, it was the Polo Grounds they called home! Some of us NY area homeboys have never forgiven them for leaving

Hey thanks for stopping by

Wantoo ...
My dear dear boy ... a man that actually knows the Giants as the NY Giants would also remember thier rivals the Dodgers as the Brooklyn Dodgers. But that is back in the days of Mays...

Ah yes, the good ol' days when rally caps were important and cracker jacks still had the good prizes. Damn, I was born in the wrong era!

So, what do I get for winning that coveted place in your heart?

*kiss*
