One Hundred at Last!

I was saying to my friend redswallow777 in chat this morning that I needed to think of a blog topic. I’d forgotten that it is my 100th post. I’ve not been in a hurry to get here. In fact, among the last ten posts I’ve rather slowed down. Plus the site’s been playing up. Plus my local server is playing up too. Plus I’m terribly busy at work this week…. (excuses, excuses) .... and plus it has taken me at least 3 hours of trying over two days to post this post.

Yes, my 100th post!

Tradition calls for a review.

I started blogging thinking it would be fun to keep a diary of my experiences emailing and meeting men on this site. I did this a bit at first, and still post like that occasionally. Later I added my experiences camming as an occasional topic. It’s fun keeping the boundaries between reality and fantasy a little bit blurred.

Occsionally I’ve been moved to post personal news: but not much of this because I’m scared of being recognised within the community where I live. Anyone who wants more of this is welcome to email me directly.

Also current events, occasional posts on meditation or poetry: I would like there to more of these last two.

I didn’t realising that blogging itself would become one of my major topic areas. The greatest number of comments I’ve received were on this in How do blogs become popular? and Keeping Comments Rich. I will probably feel moved to look at different types of blogs some more.

The fewest comments I’ve received were on Doing the splits 1 and Doing the splits 2. So I definitely need to explain more about my split personality. LOL

The most rewarding to write were the answers to questions that followed Truth, Not Dare!. I learnt so much about myself trying to answer those questions. I was amazed, humbled and grateful!

This is Polly, still Wagging

Read your comment to my blog ( "Zen - reponding quickly withouy conscious thought"). Reading this post, I noticed your comments about "rich comments". Interesting juxtaposition. It made me think. Recently I have been reading books about taking time to look, the art of seeing, etc. In the West, I think Zen is viewed as a kind of symbolism. A polarity. Zen is reacting immediatly, intuitively. But on the other hand a state of Zen is achieved by learning to take the time to look past the obvious. It's the art of the immediate and the art of rejecting the immediate.

Sorry I haven't made it over here for a while... it gets kind of manic over at my place ... but LOL! i have found writing about my multiple personalities seems to attract a lot of attention but those blogging one's definitely seem to attract more comments -- o, and the one on my blog where I asked men to explain why they can't get their act together with a decent profile...

Polly........There is much to be learned here on your blog.!!!.....I am going to follow your blogs on "bloging" and especially want to follow the posts and comments on "Truth Not Dare"........I don't know if I could do that right now.....Afraid that no one would ask me any questions, and if they did, could I answer?.....And yes, I would learn a lot about myself, trying to answer them..

I was led here from your 100th post "post", and I will be giving some thought to that tradition.....I think that I have 66 +or-......should be sometime in February.!!

I stated in an earlier comment that you will have to be a good detective to find my comments, back in your early months, but I am thinking, that as thorough as you are, that you will probably find them.....I will give you a couple of weeks, before I drop you a hint......By then, there might be several for you to find.........I will try to make my comments, thoughtful, pertinent, and meaningfull.!!! (If I am learning anything here, I am learning to use the dictionary, and trying to communicate better.)(sorry if I miss a few words, for not taking the time to look them up). Anyway, I hope to make it worth your time, to follow my comments.!!

Just a thought, Polly......Maybe, I will ask you to be my bloging mentor?
