Left Behind - God's Revenge

My ex ordered this goofy Christian movie off of Netflix. Of course she's not watching it. **LOL** But I'm bored enough to. And it's the funniest damn movie I've seen in a while. (Not that it's a commedy, which is perhaps what makes it so funny.) And it's got Kirk Cameron. He's so dreamy!

Seriously. These people 'vanish', leaving their clothes behind. People are wigging out, not realizing that it's 'the rapture'. **LOL** As if.

Honestly, why would god take their bodies to heaven? Surely the long rotten dead bodies are still long rotten and dead. Who needs a physical body in heaven? If 'the rapture' did happen, it's just be tons of people suddenly falling over dead.

Okay, and another thing, all of the 'sinners' are left behind, and yet no one is looting. No one is doing jack. Everyone is just acting like it's all still good. Yeah. That's almost believable.

Really though, could you imagine a world without Christians? I mean really. No more Dubya-esk politicians. No more missionaries forcing their religion upon other cultures. No more Christians anywhere forcing their ideals on anyone. No more of the Christian intollerance of other religions, cultures, people. No more judgement. No more condemnation to hell for us vile sinners of the world. Imagine, a world where science is no longer opposed. Where gay people can just be themselves. Imagine the possibilities. Science, culture, open-mindedness, all things historically opposed by the church, suddenly unopposed. Would it be hell, or would it be heaven?

**LOL** Heaven on earth. It almost makes you want to be a believer.

Left Behind is also a series of books.. over ten I believe.. I read them all.. I loved how it was the Bible meets Stephen King.. in my eyes.. by the way.. there are more movies.. out.. since the first one entertained you so much. (I'd honestly read the whole series again.. I enjoyed them)

Oooh. More movies? I hope that they have Kirk Cameron in them too. They wouldn't be the same without him. **LOL** But yeah, there did seem to be a pretty open end to the movie. I was kind of wondering.

Yes he is in the other movie.. I'd loan it to you.. but my mother took it.. lol

yes.. they will all be that way.. open ended, it is how all his books ended to.. at a climax.. then I was left hanging for two months.. waiting for the next book.. there were like ten, or was it eleven? there were a lot of books.. so, I'm sure there will be a lot of movies.. at least I'm hoping. (Some of those books were awesome, would love to see it visually in a movie..) I still have the books.. lol
