Driving Me Nuts

Here are some things I've seen people do while driving that I just don't get:

Why do people accelerate to get onto the exit ramp, where they then always have to slow down or even stop?

Why do people accelerate so very slowly, but then eventually speed well over 10 miles an hour? (I mean if they were in such a hurry, wouldn't they accelerate like normal people, or even, dare I suggest, quickly?)

Why do people who drive well under the speed limit then roll through a stop sign?

Why do people ride on your tail like you're going too slow, eventually pass you, get back into your lane, and then half a mile later go slower than you were going, forcing you to pass them?

Why do people on an entrance ramp match me exactly so that I have to slow down or speed up to avoid an accident when I'm the only car in the lane for at least 40 car lengths?

(Seriously, one day not only did this happen, so I slowed down to let them in, but then when they were halfway past me they slowed down to match me again. So I accelerated, and when they noticed they matched me. So then I braked moderately hard ... being almost to the point of entry and getting a bit concerned, and they matched me yet again. So I flipped them off and floored it because by that time it was like a second away from being an collision and left them eating dust instead of risking the accident.)
