The Symbols of my Life
The Symbols of my Life
23-My number! I claimed it long before Michael Jordan put it on millions of pieces of red merchandise. It is a friendly number that doesn’t have a bad reputation like its cousin 10 digits back or the sensuality of its product multiplied by three.
Aqua Blue-It is an astounding color that does not hurt my eyes. Shades of green and blue are all apart of the colors that I most want to see. Those high mountain lakes at the edge of the tree line are a sight to behold. Often, a camera has a rough time capturing the true color much like this writing and me.
Light Truck-Until I moved here and began a job where I drive 100 a day between work and home, I owned a truck for my entire adult life. I always had a light truck. It was enough to haul firewood and complete chores around the property but it had good gas mileage. Like me, they are rugged economy units!
Ponderosa Pine-This tree means so much to me. It grows only where there are four seasons and usually some of the cleanest air in the world. It is driven my wind, but seldom will you ever see one knocked over due to the massive tap root that anchors it deep in the ground. If you have ever walked in a forest of Ponderosas, the vanilla scent is amazing. These trees are in some of my favorite places in the world.
Lava Beds National Monument-That special place that is so remote I must convince my dates that I am not an ax murderer. It is a unique place that is seldom visited. That is the kind of experience that I want to be; A little out there, but well worth the extra mile or two.

So why did you choose #23?? my # is 4. followed by 16. (4*4)|
my favorite color is green, emerald and darker. possibly because my birthstone is emerald. or possibly because my eyes turn emerald green in the throws of passion (or so i'm told!). though the latter fact makes me happy due to the fact i love green i also tend to look good in darker green shades. and i love the mountains and pine trees. there's nothing like the smell of sun-warmed pine. Or the deep silence and stillness of an old-growth forest. It's like you enter an entirely new plane of existence.
