The Lottery and Real Life

I have been away this week. A short family vacation and work has simply kept my efforts on AdultFriendFinder to a minimum. On a whim, I applied for a job, a promotion, in Montana; turns out that I am now a finalist for that position. Good thing I have that philosophy of you can’t win the lottery if you don’t play. That is much the same reason I am on AdultFriendFinder. Based on this theory, some great things should happen for me on AdultFriendFinder. When you are least expecting it, circumstances give you some of the best experience and opportunities. Maybe I should actually play the lottery.

Yesterday, I had a real wake-up call about people and real life. I ended up being the “Incident Commander” on a search & rescue. In preparing the report, I almost started laughing when the reporting party told me that his wife had only been missing for two hours. My concern level was elevated with his next words. She was on medication for depression and she was last seen crying. This man was genuinely concerned about his wife, but more in the way he would care for his dog. It all worked out in the end.

I am gone for a few more days. Off to the woods with my camera to follow passion as we know it!
