Differences between regional chat rooms

Earlier this week, I returned from an eleven day road trip, all the way from my location in the Philadelphia suburbs to a small town in Eastern Kansas, all to attend a family wedding.

All throughout my trip, I went online to come to this site whenever I could, thanks to the growing ease of wireless internet access and my notebook computer.

So, being that I was passing through the lower Midwest, I decided to check out their chat room. I had already noticed how much nicer and more polite Midwest people seemed to be than many of those whom I have met back East. The chat room also seemed to reflect this. Over a period of several nights, I just did not seem to see the type of negativity like I see in the Philly room, coming from the regular chatters that I took notice of at least. Granted, there seemed to be always less people chatting in the lower Midwest room than what I recall seeing often in the Philly area room, but of the ones I got to know, albeit briefly, there just never seemed to be anybody with much of an edgy attitude.

Okay, perhaps somebody reading this might now say, "Well, if he likes this region so much, maybe he should move there!"

Sure, I could consider that. Moving there would be easier than just asking people on the East Coast to try chilling out more, I suppose. Or would it?

Does anybody here agree with what I am thinking? Or is it just my "grass always being greener on the other side" sentiment at work again here?

I know that the chatters in the Texas area are pretty cool. They aren't forceful or rude. I mean, yeah they say "can I see your tits," but I can live with that, if that's as rude as it gets. That really reflects the south in general though. Its a much more relaxed, easy going area to live in, except Dallas, Houston, and Austin. lol

swtexygirl1, thanks for sharing. I have always enjoyed talking to the Texas girls like you.

Any time. I love sharing vengeur. Did you have any encounters on your trip to the Midwest?

swtexygirl1, I wish I could say yes to that question, but my family put the kibosh on something (Unknowingly, of course.) I had all worked out in Indiana with somebody from this site. At the wedding reception in Kansas, the bride's slow and lovestruck cousin was hanging all over me, thereby cock blocking me from any other prospects I might have had that night! LOL

vengeur, I think I know why other chatrooms are more nicer than our Philly/Tri-state chatroom. I sometimes chatted in MD, Fla, or hot tub chatroom. You're right about that. The people in there aren't same as our Philly/Tri-State chatroom. Our Philly/Tri-state members live nearby, and the guys would do anything to push w/ edgy attitudes to get what they want with our PA/NJ girls. They sometimes turn us off. When I chatted in MD or Fla chatroom, I saw alot of friendly guys with their jokes & sense of humors. We even exchanged our naughty pictures which were fun to share with. I didn't see any pushy guys there at all.

So, vengeur, that's what I think it makes sense.

Vengeur - if you thought the lower midwest chat was friendly, you should visit the Chicagoland Room. Perhaps we are more laid back in the midwest or perhaps it's because we throw a lot of get togethers (what we call meet and greet parties) where the members can meet each other in a public setting. If you're ever going to be in Chicago, check out the chatroom and see if there's a party during the time you're visiting. Or look me up and I'll let you know where the fun is at. Kris

Vengeur,
IMHO I think the Philly/TriState chatroom has taken a nosedive since camming has become so prevalent in the room. At any given time there can be 150-160 people in the room which makes it pretty difficult for any actual conversation. And god help you if you suggest the people putting on cam shows move into the rooms designed specifically for that because the women on cam will accuse you of all sorts of things from being jealous to infringing upon their constitutional rights. LOL
