what ever happened to honesty being the best policy?

I had to blog again today, I am so assumed by the dishonesty I have encountered.

I was invited by a women and her partner to play with them at a lovely five star hotel in downtown SF. Politely and graciosly, I declined as I have class this evening, belly dancing and a dinner date with my lover. I was straight up, honest and very grateful and told them so. In fact, I asked this woman if she had much luck on this site. I received a new message and it was a single man pretending to be a women, but had invited me down any way. Wow...I shake my head in disbelief.

I have one more for you, just a few moments ago this man made a comment on my clit, said he wanted to suck it but too bad I was not real....WTF?!

Oh sigh...maybe I'll meet a hot yoga guy in class tonight, I seem to have better luck in class or shopping at Trader Joes.

You know, I am very fortunate...I'm not as desperate as I may appear...I am just totally amussed.

There is a lot of fraud in the world. Just laugh and move on!

Fraud? Misleading statements? Bait-n-switch? Disappointing to say the least. However there are a few who fall into another category. These are the men who have managed to evolve into a higher level of self-realization. They have managed to unburdened themselves from the constantly reinforced "standards" of success (e.g. how much money they make; how physically dominating they are or appear to be; and whether they win or lose in whatever their current activities may be). As a woman, I'm more attracted to those men who are actually in touch with themselves; have their own self-created standards; recognize their own unique gifts and talents and embrace their own identity as opposed to conforming to some other...jeez, where did this reflection come from today???? Just the current mood for now

Better he fessed up before instead of later - I get the same thing - guys pretending to be women in their profiles. Arghh! Not my preference.... But - on the other hand, it's not exclusive to men as far as honesty, there's a shipload of women who think that "average" body type means an extra 20 lbs. That's not a deal breaker, but a "little extra padding" IS pretty innocuous....
