age difference...what's your opinion?

Alright I'll state where this is coming from. I'm 36 and am currently really into this 23 year old. In the past I have been a boy toy for a women that was at least 10 years older. The current situation is different than that...this is more like a nice girl. So, what is your it ok for there to be a 13 year difference? Pro's? Cons?

That's nothing, we are 17 years apart. Age ain't nothin but a number, as long as they are legal.

I think it all depends on your personality, her personality and what you both are looking to find in each other. When I was 18 I dated a 36 year old man. He was serious, I wasn't. Never would have really "worked" but he was fun for the time.

My "extra husband" was 9 years younger than me. But we matched in so many ways you'd never have guessed it except for my looking my age.

One thing I want to mention. It seems there's a couple of periods in life where the age difference seems to be accentuated. If you were still in your 20's you of course...hopefully...wouldn't be interested in her while in her teens. And then there's the other end of the spectrum. Age seems to become an issue again in old age. With a 13 year difference are you going to leave her a widow at an early age? On average women live longer than men anyway. Well...I can tell you that you have to take your chances on that one. Hawk was 9 years my junior and had a heart attack at 36. I always assumed I'd be the first to had other plans. All I can say is that if you care about this girl, grab her and hold on for dear life. Become each other's shelter in a stormy world, and live every minute like it may be your last...because you never know when the end will come, but it WILL come.
P.S. Us older women with younger men and be "nice girls" too. *pokes you and grins*
