Momma told me not to shave down there

Okay, momma doesn't know a thing about where I shave. All she knows is that I've promised to always wear clean underwear. Actually, it was my wife who warned my not to shave down there. She said it would itch when it grows back. That's why I've never been able to convince her to have down there. I tell her it is the ULTIMATE turn on for me, but... oh well.

Anyway, I've been shaving down there for about a year. I started a week before the vasectomy. Actually, the doctor said I didn't really need to shave. He probably laughed when he saw my genital landscape littered with red-dotted toilet paper squares and razor rash. In any event, I liked the bare landscape down there and maintained a regular shaving routine.

If you haven't shaved down there before, but other guys (and gals) will tell you there are a few rules to live by: 1) always use a fresh (meaning sharp) razor. Nothing like the feeling of a dull razor catching some hairs and pulling them out by the roots. 2) Believe or not, you have to let the hair grow a little before the next shave or you run the risk of razor rash. But what about just using some shaving gel, you ask? Well, I don't know about you, but when I have a tool that sharp near my boys, I like to be able to see what I'm doing. I don't want shaving cream obscuring the delicate contours of the area.

Oh, and a quick note about vasectomies. Do it. Don't puss out and make your wife get her tubes tied. You'll spend a lifetime in the doghouse. It's not a big deal, unless you had my doc. He liked to listen to classical music but he couldn't make the CD player work. The situation didn't instill me with confidence. Still, get it done.
