The Perils of Michael Jackson

ok, i normally have no interest in the activities of celebrities, but every once in a while, a train wreck comes along and i do take notice.

what are your thoughts on MJ? his alleged sexual preferences?

i agree that he is a walking target for greedy parents willing to put their kids on the line for a few bucks (well, maybe more than a few), but it also seems painfully obvious that he has no interest in women (or men).

I definately agree with your 'train-wreck' anology. Personally I don't get what it is about the doings (or mis-doings) of the famous (or formerly famous in the case of Mr. Jackson) that fascinates the American masses.

That being said, I suspect that he is VERY WIERD, and that his biggest problem is that he has surrounded himself with people that have a vested interest in never making him mad - (so much for the gravy train if they do). If one is never told that one is wrong - one comes to believe that one is never wrong. So if you want to recapture your lost childhood by having children sleep-over, it's all good with your yes-man posse.

We believe he is guilty. It seems California is the place to be tried if you are a celebrity.

Guilty or not guilty. Michael will always be a True legand in many eyes. (SAD if he is guilty) I use to Dance off some dancing machine. Oh! and how I would do the robot, try to. I learned to dance by dancing in the mirror off some of his best tunes. His tunes from back in the day. Michael has surely changes over the years. Excuse me! I got to jibbering a bit. I personally don't want to form an opinion of if he is or isn't guilty. I just like to remember him as he was in his younger innocent years. He may have some flaws, we all do. NO! I don't believe he will get away with being guilty if he is. (No matter what the courts say.) Child molestation is wicked/evil. But I wasn't there only the GOOD LORD knows the facts. If he is quilty in just time he will suffer. If he's not quilty then he has reason to stand TALL.

i do think he's a pedophile, but it also appears that his latest accuser's mom was just exploiting her child based on his prior record...well, technically not his record since he was not found guilty.

Can a child be a pedophile? I think that whatever he did he is "innocent as a child". The boy never had a childhood. He never had a chance to grow up. The attaorney at law should maybe take an interest in his father. If he did anything criminal he probably did not understand what he was doing.
What gets me far more angry than a single child molester is the media campaigns that actually promote child-molestating! Here in Germany there were less and less cases. Next thing the media hits on the issue and every single child-molester gets prime time on tv. The media exposure frightens parents all over Europe. The numbers for Germany show 50% less than ten years ago. It would be even less, if the decline would not have been slightly reversed through the efforts of the media.
There are many types of perverts and some do every thing for fame or infamity!

On last thing about Jackson: If he abused any children he did this starting from the role of a victim. This greedy mother abused her kid for the lure of money.
MJ might be in serious need of professional help, but that is a private issue. He never had a live let's give one to him. Let us leave him alone.

MJ is innocent until proven guilty. Damn, I sound like a lawyer. MJ never got to live a childhood. He was a superstar 10 years before he hit puberty. I think he loves children because he longs for a childhood. He does not fit the profile of a pedifile. He fits the profile of an MJ. look at his house -- neverland?????????? peterpan????????????? I think he is a good man. and he has done a lot of good for a lot of people. I just wish he had an advisor/counselor/friend like me, to tell him what NOT to do, such as have sleepovers........ By the way, back in the 70's, when Elton John mentioned on Mass Media that he was Bi, my response was, "and how does that make his music sound different?" (I'm a fan)

MJ is surrounded by people who live off him and tell him what ever he wants to hear. Someone close to him should remind him that he is almost 48 years old. It's time to grow up. You don't regain you childhood by stealing it from others.

I don't know if he is guilty or not. It is entirely possible that what we have is greedy parents and a prosecutor that loves the publicity he gets going after someone who is famous. Apparently he had a very week, if long, case. I understand that the prosecutor calims to have lost Michael's passport and refuses to return the things taken from Michaels ranch. It seems that he has something personnal against Michael. In any case I think we have not heard the last of this. I would not blame Michael if he left the country.

P.S. Awesome tits!

My comment is being made long after the trial is over, and despite the acquittal, I would just chalk it all up to another example of "celebrity justice", i.e., the rich getting their own preferential form of justice. For those of you who actually believe that MJ is innocent, I would suggest that you read the court transcripts from the testimony of his 1993 accuser. There, you will be able to read lurid details which support the then 13-year-old boy's sworn statement claiming, "Michael Jackson had sexual contact with me on many occasions." (MJ paid off that kid's family to the sum of as much as 25 million dollars, something I submit that an innocent man would never do.)

I totally disagree with the comments above which claim that MJ does not fit the profile of a pedophile. Pedophiles are predators that tend to select victims from broken and/or dysfunctional families. (MJ's accuser from 1993, and the one from his recent criminal trial, both fall into this category.) Pedophiles often tend to lure their victims to places which are appealing to children and in which they can assert control over. (MJ’s 2,700-acre Santa Barbara, California, estate “Neverland” is just such a place, will all of its toys, rides, and games, but also with a SPECIAL ALARM SYSTEM to warn MJ of anybody approaching HIS BEDROOM.) Pedophiles also tend to reward and/or intimidate their victims after molesting their prey. (I don't think anyone can dispute MJ's lavish gift-giving to adolescent BOYS, but not so much GIRLS, over the years.)

MJ started displaying signs of being a child predator long before most people even realize. In the 1984, he went to the American Music awards with two dates: Actress Brooke Shields, and CHILD actor Emmanuel Lewis. (It was Emmanuel Lewis who had to sit on MJ’s lap and be carried around by MJ, even up to the stage when it was MJ’s turn to accept an award, however, while Brooke Shields did not so much as even hold his hand!)

Over subsequent years, MJ seemed to use various adult women just to maintain the public image facade of having a normal sex life. That's the entire reason he married Lisa-Marie Presley shortly after being accused of sexual molestation in 1993. (Her reward was supposedly going to be an advance in her recording career. This never came to be, so she divorced him in 1996.) When MJ became a father himself, he had to have his second wife Debbie Rowe, a former plastic surgery nurse of his, become a surrogate mother through ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION. Am I the only one to find this rather telling? It would be my guess that MJ cannot even get himself aroused by the presence of any woman in his bed, much less impregnate one naturally through sexual intercourse.

I found it interesting when it was reported that several of the jurors who voted to acquit wacko jacko publicly said afterwards that they regretted doing so. Aren't California juries wonderful?
