After I dropped...

off D_c_guy at the airport this morning (he flew in last night) I headed to the store for some comfort foods. Milk to make scrambled eggs, iced tea, a starbucks vanilla frappucino, and a cherry coke. Tigger helped me eat a bit of my eggs. That was lunch. I've vegged out this morning, actually the weekend with Lioness_girl. It's been really nice to have company for a change.

My son comes home in a few hours. The house looks like a disaster zone LOL Family brought over the rest of the boxes this weekend and took off for North Carolina (thank goodness peace n quiet).

So here I am now, no family living in town. It's a nice feeling actually. Freedom

We went to Pleasure Palace last night with the TASA crew. Was WONDERFUL seeing everyone as always. It was a magical night...I'm still floating!

I think I'm going to walk over to my gym here on a bit, grab my book to take with me and see if I can bike and read. I can't do the treadmill and read, makes me dizzy. Darn vertigo from the sinuses!

OH that reminds me I forgot to post about my doc's appointments on Wednesday *doh*

I got a full physical at the regular doc's. EKG and hearing test are ok. Get the blood results next Saturday as well as having to get a CT scan for my sinuses. The gal that took my blood was GREAT! I bruise easily so at my request (a request that sometimes isn't honored which pisses me off) she used a kids needle and I got to lay down while she did it since last time I had blood taken I almost passed out while sitting up. My arm wasn't sore after, no bruising either

Then it was off to the opthamologist. There are 2 stys in my right eye. Turns out that since I have rosacea (which I need to see a dermatologist for) it is affecting my eyes. She said she was surprised I can wear contacts at all without my eyes being constantly irritated. So she gave me drops for those. They numbed my eyes and checked the pressure in them since I've been on antibiotic drops for about 3 weeks, that came out fine. Ok except that my eyes there was no muscle control and I started to freak out. Then they dilated them, that was ok too. Turns out the sinus infection is irritating the rosacea. Good grief I'm a mess LOL

Other than that I'm now on Cipro for the infection. Claritin D every day. Which bad me I haven't started taking yet since I've been feeling very jittery and wasn't sure if it was due to work or the Cipro since it's a Floxin drug which gives me that feeling.

So hopefully they can fix me all up. But I will say that Friday I finally felt like I had energy for the first time in a month. This is a good sign

Sounds like you are getting a full "tune-up." An increasing energy level is a good thing!

About blood draws... I still can't watch them put the needle in! I have probably had a hundred IV's from when I had surgery (a long story). At least I don't pass out anymore when I see the vials of blood, LOL.

You are definately too young for all those medical worries. As an "ancient" I am kind of used to minor issue after minor issue. When a few of these things gang up on me at once it is a real downer.

Take the cipro, religously! It will definately kill the sinus infection. For me, having a sinus infection drag on always seems to trigger other issues.

Good luck, feel better.

Hey girl, just wanted to thank you for letting me crash at your place for the weekend. I'm glad I could keep you company. The pool was nice to relax in, but next time you should wear some sunscreen

Thanks too for helping me pick out some makeup and the nail polish so that I could look smashing when I got to the Palace.

Your cats are just beautiful, albeit a bit nosy snooping around all those boxes and knocking some things down. You would think they would learn to stay away after scaring themselves off too many times, but you know.....curiousity killed the cat!

Now, next time....make sure you don't call my house when I am staying with you
