She called - what to do?

A couple months ago I found someone who would make a great FWB. She's married, kids, no intention of leaving her husband, pretty, bubbly, energetic (the energizer bunny on amphetamines), great kisser, and we clicked on many different levels. After meeting her (public place - nothing more than some necking/groping, so far), I was thrilled at the prospect of seeing her on a regular basis, but wondered how she would make time with hubby/kids/full time job/part time job/and gym.

Then she was too busy to see me, lost her cell phone, too busy, couldn't talk, email was being monitored...I thought, okay - she got cold feet and doesn't have the courage to tell me - so, I decided I wouldn't waste any more time.

Three weeks and nothing.

Then this morning she left a message: "Happy Holidays! I've been thinking of you, just been swamped. Hope you have a good Christmas!"

What do you all think? Should I continue to pursue, or is she just a player - all hat and no cattle?

get used to it. you may have only been one phone call in three weeks, but-and i'm only guessing-she's thought about you a lot more. her rules are different though, she has different priorities and many more limitations than you do. you have to accept her reality and how you may or may not fit into it at any given time AND how that can change without warning. the hard part is two years later, when you wrestle with the fact that an hour at the gym everyday is not time away from you-it's that the hour she sneaks away to see you is an hour on the treadmill she'll have to make up for next week. it's awful, it's beautiful. i'll never do it again and it's the best thing that ever happened to me. good luck

Talance-I think you'll be surprised at my answer. If I were you, I would pursue it. You'd be surprised how often another thinks of you and just doesn't have the time.
