old-school cartoons

I enjoy watching TV channels that will run old favorites in syndication. There is TV Land, and such, of course my favorite is Cartoon Network Boomerang. I pulled up a search and found a site listing all the great Hanna/Barbera cartoons of the 60' and early 70's. And wow, did that bring back memories!!!! Space Ghost, Herculoids, Frankenstein Jr., Jonny Quest,Sabrina and the Groovie Ghoulies, Scooby Doo, the list is endless it seems. I am trying to find as many of these on DVD's as possible. What were some of your favorite "Old-School" cartoons growing up when Saturday mornings meant looking forward to cartoons? HUG=GASMS to all!!

I remember excidedly awaiting for Saturday morning cartoons as a lad. Johnny Quest! That sure was a long time ago...

I like the earlier ones even better. Rocky & Bullwinkle. And Merrie Melodies. I loved those. I was getting an education in classical music and didn't even know it!

i don't do too much cartoon watching now-a-days,, cept when i am forced to do so,, my daughter she watches... Oh Yeah you know it,, the cartoon channel,, and there he is... Ole' SpongeBob... Come on,, what sort of lesson are we supposed to learn from a sponge that seems to lost his way, he wears pants for goodness sake...
