9 am tradition

Ok..summer is no time for schedule, but this somewhat anal (heads out of the gutter) girl needs some kind of routine from going crazy. Though I have tried many, I have finally found a starter...waking up at 9 am to watch the over-runned re-runs of Dawson Creek on TBS. For those of you who don't care, its the episode where Joey enters a beauty pageant for scholarship so she can get out of her small-minded city of capeside. And, finally after many years of pining over Jennifer-infatuated Dawson, Joey pushes the magic button and Dawson finally sees through the fog and discovers how beautiful the girl-next door really is (but, really Joey lives across the lake and Jennifer is the "slutty-before Capeside" girl living next door). But of course, as these teenagers always like to overanlyze things and use loquacious language to explain the precarious situations that arise at that age, Joey must excuse herself and actually reject Dawson because she is afraid that he only sees her outer beauty and not the beauty from within....sigh...when will these tv boys learn? Beauty is from the inside, not the outside

Don't ask me why I watch this show especially since I know how everything ends (happily despite the many tribulations and monumental moments of despair, love triangles, and confusion). But if you were to ask me which episode is my favorite? Simple: Family Guy episode 14 when Peter has to take over Death's job and Peter has to kill off the Dawson Creek's cast, but he can't because he too is mesmerized by their garrulous chatter and over-scrutinizing of teen issues. Cue in theme song

(sorry...first thing that popped in my mind this morning and will most likely be every week day for the rest of the summer )

I used to watch that show when It first aired on TV.

I like your sarcasm!!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Maybe if I lived NEXT DOOR to you, you wouldn't have time to watch re-runs and something else would pop into your mind in the mornings

A routine from going crazy hm? My mind is wandering back to parts of a conversation we had.

The angel on my left shoulder says that along with exercise and your other extracurricular activities, pick up some other hobbies to fill in the gaps. You like writing erotica and you have a very detailed and impassioned imagination, so why not work on a book and/or art to go along with it if you are artistically inclined. Try going to a yoga class or social function at your Y.

The devil on my right shoulder says he'd like to wake up beside you at 9am and do some things totally unrelated to Dawson's Creek. He'd like to bring your creative fantasies to life and let you experience what you long for. And when you can't take it anymore, totally spent, he'll take you even further into an abyss of sexual energy.

So what will I do? These two guys are getting heavy sitting on my shoulders arguing, think I'll push them off and go run some errands.

is that how you are with all of your decisions? just like scarlet o'hara knowing that tomorrow is another day and she can push away her problems and think about them then

whose your favorite? i prefer the pink bunny with purple polk-dots that likes to follow me to the bar and only comes out when i have at least 5 beers and a couple of shots

Actually I'm quite decisive, but indirect at times. I knew which one I'd choose before I started typing it .

I think my favorite would be something else pink that comes out when you have at least 5 beers and a couple of shots. Though I do prefer her to be sober, fully aware, and making deliberate choices when in such intimate settings.
