ah...Shakespeare comes to mind today...All the worlds a stage....
hmmm.....how'd it go?
'All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.'
I think it was from "As You Like It"
Now, tell me. I'm curious. How many here on this website believe that all the worlds a stage...?
Are we all merely players?

I believe the world is a kind of stage.sometimes you choose he part you play sometimes your part is thrust upon you. It's hard to go wrong with the philosophy of life Shakespeare espoused. He was a brilliant man|

I feel that the public world is a stage. The one place where leaving the stage is possible is our private lives. Since when we are out in the world, even those people who are saying that they are going against the world's restrictions in a way are actually falling into one. I often like to say that I am going against those restrictions...and I think the best I can do as part of this goal is to be ambiguous enough in public that I cannot be put into one role...this may be the only way to break apart from the stage. If you want to look at the possibility of this...if you look through the list that Shakespeare gives...95 percent of the movies you see everyday fall under those categories...There are some movies which do not fit this profile...but, thats what makes life good...feel free to message back if you want to talk more...|
