And my other baby Magic. What a beauty!
And yes, not only do I ride horses, but I ride cowboys. You know, save a horse, ride a cowboy......

SweetMiriah ...

You are evidently quite a horse lover! I'm not a cowboy and so I don't ride horses much, but I do love to be ridden by cowgirls! And, as you say, that would certainly save some wear and tear on your beloved animals! My nephew, Truman the Tiger, is the mascot for the Missouri Tigers of Columbia, a town not to far from Moberly. No doubt you are familiar with Truman! I visit him occasionally for football games.

Perhaps we should chat about riding ... your choice ... horses or tigers! You can find me under my handle, but you'll have to search the landscape far and wide to find my address on the net ...

Gotta get back out there "on the prowl"! I'll keep an eye on your blog site!

Would kinda of a hippie cowboy do for a riding partner? I just finished a job as a caretaker of Award winning Belgians. The owner passed away. And his heirs have sold the property and the horses.

And I also helped my grandfather raise, train, and keep Percherons, Belgians, a Quarterhorse Stud, and a Pinto Mare. The hippie thing comes from some of my experiences in California, lol. I'm a very ecclectic individual. But I do love almost all animals; and I really miss taking care of the horses now! :+( And hell, the horses didn't seem to care if I wore cowboy boots or hiking boots, nor a cowboy hat or a bandana; and they didn't even seem to mind a tank top and shorts either!!! All they cared about were food, kindness, and affection. I wish people were like horses, lol. I guess I come from the "horse whispering" philosophy when it comes to taking care of and training horses, lol. But the only kicker is: I'm allergic to horses, lol!!! But I put up with it; and some anti-allergy medications help allot now. That's how much I love them!!!

I've worked with horse therapy groups for mentally challenged chidren and teens; and troubled teens when I was attending the University of Arkansas as a Psychology and Biology major.

Well, we could talk about horses sometime if you wish? Beautiful animals of course! :+)

Best Wishes Miriah :+)

And yes I am being extremely sincere, truthful, and genuine in my statements here; hope to here back from you sometime! :+)

Sincerely, Chris Swearngin

Hi sweetmiriah ...

Me thinks you have not been posting further equestrian stories on your blog because you have been totally consumed riding cowboys! Came back over to read of your recent exploits and was heartbroken to see that you have evidently found that cowboy! Oh, well, my loss, but I am happy for your gain!

Hi Miriah

Thank you for answering my comment. :+) Yes, my grandfather raised mostly draft horses. But he had several quarter horses and trotters, ect, he and I broke and traded and sold. Brandy(the quarterhorse stud), and Lady(the pinto mare) are the ones he kept for riding. Heh, he also raised and broke-in mules too. And interestingly enough, I'm not allergic to mules--go figure, lol. I used to be allot more allergic to horses when I was a kid and tennager than I am now. Like I said, i take a powerful anti-allergy medication(Zorstatin), and Singular together, lol. So I can work with them maybe 3-4 hours if I have too. But yeah, I do suffer a little if I work with them that long. But hour or 2 hour of riding, or just feeding them, watering, washing, and giving them lots of love, with the medications doesn't bother me much now.

As for what I'm doing now, well I'm helping a farmer plant wheat and harvest the last of his soybeans. But that will only last until the end of the month at latest. After that, well, I'll apply to a temp agency and work probably some factory job until hopefully one of my other job apps works out. But I love living out in the country though, so living in town and doing some inside job will be hard on me! I love living out in the country!!! But I usually work two jobs to stay busy, so I'll just have to see what hopefully comes my way. I love animals, and I like helping people too, So, I have several resumes in with the hopitals in Columbia and the Central MO Humane Society. And I have worked the bar scene, so maybe I'll try those again too for a second job; and the casino in Boonevulle is another place.

Sorry for all the rambling!

You take care now Miriah, and your horses! :+)

Best Wishes, Chris

Hi Miriah, thanks for your compliments on my blog. I wrote you a reply on my blog. I also love the pictures of your horses especially because of the snow. As kind of a artistic type, that really adds a beautiful texture to the photos. :+)

Bye...bye now Miriah. :+)
