Today was one of those days where the rain comes down so softly, with a warm humidity that reminds of the summer storms that cross the desert.

The kind that begs you to stand outside in your shorts and t-shirt, defying the rain, feeling the wild static in the air, playing chicken with lightning. Of course you know that the lightning is 4 miles away because you learned to count the flash of lightning with the later effect of thunder.

And the air...just lives in a vibrant wetness that caresses and licks at your skin with sticky life.

So you stand, 12 years old, on that verge of girl and woman, and don't realize it will come back to haunt you when you are a woman of 36.

This moment of sensuality that has nothing to do with sexuality...just you and the humidity.

There is much to be said of this woman 's sexuality in this piece. Innocence juxtaposed with experience wrapped in humidity.

mmmmmm. There is much to this woman to be discovered!!

SA I really appreciate those who can separate sensuality and sexuality. As a sensualist, there have been times when play was truly just sensual in nature and the mental/intellectual stimulation can be as exquisite as sexual.

"the air...just lives in a vibrant wetness that caresses and licks at your skin with sticky life."
There is such a strong kinestheitic/touch/feelingness to that line it vibrated through me.
Keep it up. I am going to play with that line for a while.

Akadafa, the memory of the moment haunts at unexpected times in wonderful ways.

Mr. Sharkey, thank you for noting the innocence that contrasts against the strength of experience.

Mag and Gem,

When a moment is so magical that it inspires us to live with greater abandon, well...those are the moments that make our humanity something the gods envy.

Mtnravyn, I discovered kinesthetics as an adult, or shall I say that I appreciate them more now.

If both mental and physical are combined in sexuality...causing sensuality to wrap around the moment...well, isn't that paradise?

And yes please play with the lines.
