Glory in the Morning

It's a perfect Sunday morning in my backyard.

I sit with my laptop perched where else? In my lap, legs propped on the patio set, a slice of suburbia.

Munching on a bagel and sipping a pumpkin latte. How very chic...

But the morning glory does't mind me. It winds it's way up the fence and into my neighbor's trees, a curtain of deeply purple blooms among soothing green trifoil leaves.

The morning glory is adaptable, something I admire and strive to emulate.

One can cling too tightly to the trees that lift it up and strangle the life out. It is a tenuous balance that must be maintained.

May I never cling too tightly.

Go easy on the morning glory.... It's intent is not to take over... It just needs a little someting to hold on to!

As long as it holds on where the symbiosis can be valued. Like your positive point, Gem.

Well taken. Thank you.
