Prostitute? Wife? Girlfriend? what's the difference?

I always ponder this on valentine's day... the one day where every heterosexual man will buy stuff in order to get between some woman's legs (or just to see her happy, but hey, who wouldn't want some hot sex after giving a present?). My friends often ask (mostly after dropping several hundred dollars on some hunk of metal that sparkles) "what is the difference between a regular woman and a prostitute?".

The more I think about it, the more I see that we men pay money and women give sex in return. prostitutes seem to eliminate the middlemen and sometimes even I wish I didn't have to bother hand-picking a gift. I could just hand over a few hundred dollars to whomever is my girlfriend at the time and just have her be overjoyed. A prostitute would see no value in a thoughtful, hand-chosen gift but a wife/girlfriend would. It really is the thought that counts.

So if the girl you're with flips over your present and looks at the price tag only to display a frown because it's below some predefined amount, RUN FAR FAR AWAY (unless you're a cheap-assed idiot who gives your loved one a bag of potato chips for valentine's day). If you're dating Paris Hilton, get tested for STDs, accept whatever she gives you for v-day and then RUN AWAY!!

PS - That guy who's showing his love in that pic to your left.. yeah, that's not me but if I did have back hair, I'd be doing that. I love shameless, low-brow comedy!

You forgot those of us that get NOTHING from our gigilos, boyfriends, husbands. How hard could it be to write a love note? Cost: not a damn thing.

Personally, I don't wait for Christmas, birthdays and Valentine's Day to buy gifts that make my man feel special and loved and to let him know I am thinking about him.

It really is the thought that counts. We appreciate that you are thinking about us.

Kelly - lol, I can't stand girls who act like blow up sex dolls during sex... I need some reaction!

Themindfucker - thanks for the compliment, this is my first blog so feel free to educate me on blog etiquette. Sometimes I wish all girls would just be less of a hassle... we men are no cakewalk either, I wonder what women hate about men most?

I ASKED FOR NO GIFTS, BUT GAVE BOTH THE MEN IN MY LIFE SOMETHING FOR V-DAY....... ME! I DON'T WANT GIFTS, DON'T NEED CARDS OR CANDIES. I JUST WANT TIME! A KISS, A HUG, JUST TIME TOGETHER!

Dead on target.
If we strip off the gift wrap, take away the 'darlings'and 'oh baby's!" valentines day is pretty much a done deal for those who don't wanna face feeling lonely.

Prostitutes are honest, not so a girlfriend. Even less so, a wife.
The higher the stakes are,the less people tend to give of themselves, emotionally. It seems so stupid to preserve a commitment and lose spontaenity. But there it is.

Am glad I passed by. You're cute too. Busy tomorrow?

Happily,
Woofff! Woofff!

HOTNBOTHERED - It's a rare sight to behold a woman that doesn't expect anything from her man (or men) on v-day. If you're truly that way, be proud! Hot, wild, raw, sweaty, passionate, animalistic sex is always the best gift on v-day! (Bringing in a hot female friend for fun will anchor you in your boyfriend's personal history book). Oh, can you pop the buttons on that shirt in your pic without using your hands?

Woofff - interesting thoughts. So you feel that, generally speaking of course, commitment and honesty are inversely proportional (ie the greater the commitment the less honest lovers are for those that aren't familiar with inverse proportions)? Is the same true for commitment and spontanaeity?

I can see your point, it's just interesting to see it stated as such an exact science.

lol, Thanks for the compliment. You're quite the cutie yourself. I'm pretty busy most of the time, I find little islands of free time every now and again. How's India?
