If that boy bled what collor would his blood be, green, blue...?"

As a Little girl of 6 I saw the next door neighbours son and daughter throwing stone at a black boy. I did nothing to stop them. My mother came running out of the house yelling at them. She grabbed me and took me inside the house. She asked "If that boy bled what collor would his blood be, green, blue...?" No I replyed it should be red. My mother explained to me that we were all created by the same God. If we bled, we had the same blood. So we should treat other the way we would like to be treated. I have always been greateful to her for this life lesson. In our country we have Nelson Mandela as the greatest excample of a person capable of forgiveness. If we all followed his footsteps things could only get better

I do go into the shelters and feed the people. I talk to the homeless people. The one thing you will see is that poverty does not ask your collour. When you are down on your luck we all have the same basic needs. We need food, something to wear and love and respect. We all need to feel that we are important. I have met some of the nicest people living on the streets. You can learn a lot from them. All they ask for is to be treated as normal human beings. I can get very passionate about this subject.

I have seen how people feel repulsed by a dirty person on the street begging. By just give a few minutes of your time you may just be able to meet a very special person who could teach you a few life lessons!
