Good memories!!!

What I love about reading other peoples blog is how old memories seem to pop up like a good friend.

When I was a little girl I had to share a room with my brother who was 11 years older than me.

I would be lying in bed trying to sleep when he and his friends would come in after a late night jol! They would sit in the room and tell jokes.

I was only 9 at the time and most of the jokes did not make much sense. The following day I would go to school and repeat the jokes to my teacher. She would crack up laughing. I loved making her laugh!

Then came parents evening. She told my mother I was a very good little girl, but "She tells the rudest jokes" My mother did not believe her until she told her one of the joke I told her,

I moved out of my bothers room that night and the things mom said to him is not repeatable!!!!

Reminds me of the time my stepson was 5 or 6 and his grandmother was up for a visit. We were sitting around the fireplace telling jokes and he pipes up and says "FRAM - I got a joke - "What is the hardest part about eating a vegetable?"
"I don't know - what?" my mother-in-law asks.
"Getting her out of the wheel chair" he says

Apparently my wife and a girlfriend had been excahanging jokes in the car while he was in the back seat

They here EVERYTHING don't they?
