How to write a good introduction e-mail(?)

What's the best introduction e-mail you've ever recieved? Do you get right to the point or do you keep things simple? Do you make it long or short and sweet?

I'm just wondering what's the best way to grab somebody's attention with a first e-mail. What is appropriate AdultFriendFinder etiquet? Are sexual preferences something that you should bring up right away? (It's still seems alittle weird to me to talk about sex with somebody you haven't really met/talk to yet.) I think one of my problems is that I over-analyze too much... and I guess I'm a little self-conscious when it comes down to it.

Should I include any other contact information like an AIM screenname or should I mention that I have a blog?

My profile used to say some pretty daring stuff to the ladies. I once got an email from a gal saying nothing more than, "I want you to prove it." hehe. Up until then, I thought emails, introductory or not needed to contain some content. That email kinda' changed my thinking some.
