Life In Montana

I should probably leave this blank because there really isn't anything to say about living here.

Oh sure we have plenty of things to do.You can hop from one bar to another. You can drink yourself silly on any given nite. You can witness at least 3 fights in any given bar, usually between somebody's husband & their boyfriend.

We do have an up side here.Good colleges, nice land, good air, wildlife & no life.

How is it in your neck of the woods?

Sticky, I understand how you feel. I moved here from California recently, and have actually found myself getting online for the first time EVER, to find some companionship. I usually prefer more "organic" means of meeting people. Is there anyone out there???

Of course this blog was written back in June, but what can I say, I'm slow to respond. So here is my question sticky: What do other towns have that Missoula doesn't? What makes Missoula suck so bad?? We have some great golf courses around here. The hiking trails are the best to be had...whether you are looking for extreme or casual. You want water (no, no ocean around here) but some awesome lakes are only a short drive. Shorter than most drives would be to the ocean in traffic on coastal cities. As far as nightlife goes, you can have the "club" scene at the Boardroom or Bodega, or live music every weekend at the Other Side or Sean Kelly's. I'd say the only thing Missoula and it's surrounding areas don't have is a good theme park...so if you are used to living in an area that had a six flags nearby (like most of the southern states seem to have) then yeah, we're a little short on that...but hell, that's what vacations are for! Seriously, if you want life to be more upbeat, you just need to surround yourself with people that know how to have fun. If you are having problems with that then look me up, I can make some introdutions and you never know, you might have fun on accident!
