I really don't want to pay for this

I don't want to pay for drinks,i don't want to pay.Why does some one ask you out and expect you to pay?I mean don't ask me out if you're not going to pay.At least then i can bring money with me.So please remember gentleman if you ask one of your girlfriends out;no matter if she is a friend or something more,if you do the asking you are expected to pay. Also for the ladies;if you do the asking, you are expected to pay.

I would never expect a girl to pay even if she was the one that asked to go out..

Welcome to blogging.

On a first date I would assume that I am paying whether I asked her out or she asked me out. However, once we started dating awhile and we are in a relationship my views become different. I am a firm believer in equality of the sexes. I would never be in a relationship where I was expected to pay all the time, or in a marriage where I was the bread winner. How could I believe she is my equal if I always have to pay. If I was always paying I would end up thinking less of her as a person, which I do not what to do. I want to be with someone who is secure in themselves, and isn't afraid to volunteer to pick up the tab. Me and my exgirlfriend had the arrangement where if I suggested we go somewhere, I pay. If she suggested she pays. If I'm low on funds then maybe she pays. If she's low on funds I pay. I see so many women who date guys just for money, and then are surprised that he doesn't treat her very well. Sure he may buy her things, but when it comes down to his respect for her, his attitude about her capabilities he will always think himself greater.
