I just provided a comment on a list of questions to help people know me a little better - 20 fun questions. I enjoyed the activity and some made me think a little bit.

One of the questions bothered me a bit. It asked who I would change lives with - historical figure or celebrity. Well, I sat and really thought about that. There are some historical and celebrity characters that I respect...some whose achievements I admire. All are more well known than I will ever be.

After considering the question and the list of characters that I found coming to my mind I decided that none of their lives were sufficiently desireable to trade lives with. Strange as it may seem to some, I think I would rather stay who I am. I have spent the better part of a lifetime becoming who I am. I've spent time in three different career paths - enjoyed each...and been frustrated by each as well. I have good people in my life (more to come I'm sure), my sons have grown to be very good men, and life is always interesting enough to give me reason to get up in the morning. I have friends who stimulate me mentally, intellectually, emotionally, and sexually.

Sadly, my golf score is not as low as I would like and I'm not as productive with my artwork as I'd like. Big deal!

Life is terrific...most of the time. Hey, get used to it.
