To kiss

Most peeps kiss in welcome. Some one, some two, some even three. They may do it on the mouth, on the hand, or more normally on the cheeks.

How do you greet like to be greeted?

BTW Thank you all for your kind comments. It means so much.If you want to know I am the one on the left here.

Cheeks for me. Lips are better, but sometimes not socially correct.

When greeted I like a kiss, the lick comes later, however you left out the bite. I've met quite a few who like to bite the neck when greeting.

A soft lick behind the ear is a nice way to say, How You Doing, to someone you know.

But I don't lick on the first date.

I kiss my significant other on the lips. My sons, on the forehead (they're still too little to think it's icky). Family and close female friends, a good hug. Everyone else, a hearty handshake or just a good "how's it going?".

mmm... loves kissing.

In Holland we do 3 kisses on the cheek. Now that kind of kissing can be skipped as far as I am concerned... but smooching & snogging... mmmm....

Firmly in the kissing camp

Each culture has a different approach. But most cultures
involve some physical touch in greetings. Southern cultures
do not shy away from kissing or other contact. No-more
than sociability is read into it.
