What is wrong my eye?
You are never dry
except when the day fades and the moons in the sky.
Imprisoned by passion beyond understanding
He gives you all
But yet you have nothing
What good the trappings of riches?
If they are but yours in name
sacraficed in exchange for the love you thought you knew.
As he leaves you escape........
Slip out unoticed and run
To dance in the fields where nature is free
To forget all your worries
for a moment your free
Until the sun brings with it daybreak
and the turn of that key.

Thine eye has nothing wrong with it,|
Other than it sees all to clear,
So to wish it dry,
May be to wish it dead,
Question not your need to cry.
And as for nature it never is free,
Only in your dream,
Every dance step is taken on credit,
And the repayment plan,
From your pierced heart will debit.
Is that not what makes the freedom sweeter?
