Its kind of hard to post comments on poetry. Poetry is a very personal thing, its how you feel that gives us the tone and image of a poem. If its good, we can see what you see.

ahhh but readers don't always feel what the writter is feeling. so by answering how you feel or what you felt when you read it, usually helps the writter to improve their writing

I'm not going to argue! Poetry is a very personal thing, for you to post it is very brave thing. No way would I post the poetry I've written. The only time I write poetry is when I'm going through a very hard time, I wrote several when my mom past away about 9 yrs ago.

i'm sorry to hear that hun. i started posting my poetry on poetry.com after an english teacher told me i wouldn't be able to get published because it wasn't good enough. so i did it, and have had several poems published. i even took the first one ever published, "my hearts promise" up to the school so she could see my accomplishment. she called me and told me she was proud.

Thank you...that is awesome that you have had some published. You had every right to show your English teacher too, serves her right! At least you kept writing after she said it, always goes to show trust yourself! Except if it comes to singing and dancing, especially while drunk. lol

are you sure you haven't been following me at the bars? lol because i know i can't sing. known that since 7th grade when my voice changed while the choir was singing at another school. that sucked. as for dancing.......only if it is slow dancing with the women in my arms and were spinning in circles.....wait a second, i did learn how to 2 step in school. josh taught me and his gf got pissed when she walked in. thats a good memory i'll share at another time.
