Another California driving quandry.

Who on earth teaches you people to drive a stick shift? I can't count the number of people I see rolling back and forth at intersections because they don't know how to keep the car from moving with the clutch alone. I had learned to do that by the time I was 15. I see middle aged men that still can't do it here. WTF???

LOL Don't get me started on California drivers! It might help to remember that most of em learned to drive in moms audi... Precious few of those even have a stick shift

Moth of my kids learned to drive an old manual transmission trooper, and pops had em driving a tractor back home in Maine. Those two could drive a semi if they had to

I would like to take a pole... and stick it somewhere... (grin) No I would like to take a poll and see how many of these stick shift handicaps are actually from California.... or from another state.... better... another country.... like maybe somewhere in Asia?

I have to say.... It does suck when your cruising down the freeway and the girl on the right doing her make up and talking on the phone... tries and makes a sandwich out of you with the guy drinking coffee, reading his morning paper and picking his nose.

Good thing i was on my bike and could make myself real little... and real gone in a hurry.

I still don't know how to drive a stick shift.

But at least I know better than to buy one, when I don't know how to drive it.
