Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook the bacon on an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet in the oven until browned. Remove when done, pat off excess greasy good stuff and chop into roughly 1 / 4 inch strips.

Brown the ground beast well in a teflon pan ( gift from the gods ) and drain off extra greasy good stuff ( the buffalo is lean enough to skip it ) and dump into a large bowl.

Saute the onion and pepper with a little salt and the oil for about 5 minutes with the lid on. Add the garlic and thyme and saute for five minutes with the lid off. Or leave the lid off. Or always have it on. Whatever.

Toss the chopped bacon into the bowl with the browned ground beast, add the sauted oniony stuff and pour both cans of glop on top.

Here's the fun part ---> Blend it with your bare hands until well blended. Squishy, Beefy, Greasy and Gloppy. Are you wet yet?

Grease a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish and pour that crap in. Smooth to an even level with a spoon. Lick the spoon.

Crumble the block of blue cheese and try to get a fairly even layer across the top of the glop. Lick your fingers.

Open the bag of tater tots, ( Please resist the temptation to eat one frozen. I know it's tough, but you will need all of them. ) and arrange them in a single layer across the top strategically placing them to minimize gappage.

Bake the fucker for one hour.

And if you have Keith over for dinner, be sure to garnish it with parsley and radish roses and caper berries and swans carved out of kumquats and stuff like that. He really digs presentation.

To HELL with Keith and his presentation. He can cook - but everything's got that damned parsley on it! *LMFAO*

I'm gonna copy this fucker down. Sometimes I just gotta have a frozen tot to make my freakin' day! Your a "prince", Spinner. So, because I would be one (or more) tots short of a full bag, I offer a suggestion - if you squished EVERYTHING together WITH the tots, you could call it a "Don't Let Yer TaterTot Loaf." Besides, you wouldn't have to worry about no gappage, even if you ate half the bag... and no one would be the wiser. *ROTFL*

Solar...

Spin, I have more damned fun with your posts.

Ooohhhhhhhh. Tater Tots. My second favorite food group. I followed the special Tater Tot recipe in Girl Scouts, and was awarded the cooking badge. This recipe would have given me a gold medal. Do I get an invite?

Ooohhhhhhhh. Tater Tots.

"Squishy, Beefy, Greasy and Gloppy. Are you wet yet? "

Spin, Honey, you sure know how to get a girl's attention.

Anything with bacon, bleu cheese, garlic AND tater tots has to be fantastic. Thanks for the recipe (amazing what you find around here in blogland), I look forward to trying it.
