I just opened an old book I bought years ago at a used bookstore by NC State, "The Death of a President" by William Manchester and an envelope dropped out and fluttered to the floor. Curious, I retrieved it. It was postmarked Boston, MASS. and dated Sept. 16, 1964. Inside was a printed card with a printed signature.
The card reads:

Senator Kennedy and I appreciate so much the encouragement you have given us with your thoughts and prayers and we want to express our deepest thanks.
Joan Kennedy

History has just overwhelmed me like a tsunami.

By the way, will you be keeping it (why wouldn't you - you own it), or will you be contacting the JFK Presidential Library & Museum?

Hell of a find! Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

There is a difference between a good BJ and a bad BJ.
