An Important Decision is the day

I need to decide if I should send my assistant packing or should I give her yet another chance to get her act together.

She's been buckin' the system here for the last month, failure to complete her assigned tasks, failure to show up on time, and just being a dismal failure in general.

After talking with some of the other hub managers within our state, I'm thinking it's time for me to boot her ass out the door.

But...she used to do an excellent job for me, and was on the fast track for a promotion. She had even wowed my boss, my bosses boss and even the CEO of the company.

But, over the last month and a half, she's dropped the ball way too many times. Today, for example, if my second assistant (I have two of them) hadn't have showed up at the office by chance, a major shipment would have been delayed because my first assistant "overslept". By three hours!

Her failure to conform to the new uniform policy has been irritating. My drivers have been complying, but my assistant hasn't. How does that look to the rank and file, eh?

I can see the answer pretty clear, but after all the time I put into her training and everything...well...she's become a major disappointment.

It sounds like she has problems outside of work or she changed her attitude about the company. I suspect you have quized her on this.
