And On It Goes

Thanksgiving Day.
My next door neighbor, a wonderful Black Man just over 50 years old, invited me to Dinner at his Baby Sisters place in West Houston. We got there about 1400hrs. I was a little concerned he may not have told her I was coming. When we arrived, Baby Sister and her College going daughter met and greeted my with great smiles, warm hugs, and a wonderful concern for my well being. Brother and his wife showed up, as soon as they hit the door, I was the first one they greeted. A few more of the family came, all contributing to the dinner. Some I had met at my neighbors, most I did not know. Within a very short time of arriving I was already one of the family. The meal and the company were great and I did not feel uncomfortable with these strangers, now friends, even a little bit. I was told to not be a stranger and come back soon. An absolutely wonderful day with new friends. I thought about another lady, Frogger, of who I have a big crush, and prayed for her safe return to Houston. I am a lucky one!
