Womens Lib ..... yeah right

Why do women get mad when they hear a group of guys talking about a hot female or about someone’s incredible sexual experience the night before? We women are just the same. We talk about what we did, with whom, how it was and if we would do it again. We don’t just talk, we go into detail. Every minute little detail is given and described.

When a beautiful woman walks by and the men whistle and make catcalls, why do we act like we are disgusted that they are doing that. Come on, admit it, when you are that woman, you smile to yourself.

When a hot guy walks by, sure we don’t whistle and make catcalls, but he is definitely the topic of conversation back at the office or in the bar that night. And I am sure that if he knew what we were saying, he would be doing more than smiling to himself.

I think a lot of women are still getting over the "double standard" thing, where it's OK for men to be appreciative of a woman's body, but it's somehow not OK for the reverse. So I think you have some women who still think that it's "impolite" or "tacky" to admire a man's body, or talk about sex. And I think you have lots more women who are OK with it, but are a little afraid of admitting it, so they "officially" criticize it, but actually do it in practice. That way they've covered all the bases, so to speak. They get to do it, but they're "on record" as criticizing it.

Aren't the conventions of popular society fun to watch?
