Soul music

Back music: Foreigner--Juke Box Hero

Thanx for checking my first posting out...and for the nice comments

I have 3 great loves in life...would be 4 but no girlfriend lol

One is music.

I first remember discovering music when I was about 16 and had my wisdom teeth pulled. Couldnt do anything, so bought a couple of tapes--My first ones. One was Kenny G "Songbird" (and I am not ashamed to admit it dammit lol) The other was Phil Collins. For some reason I listened to those tapes over and over for the next few days and got hooked.

My first real concert was when I was 18---Genesis. Total nose bleed seats, but didn't care. Got hooked again.

Now I try to go to every big concert that hits Sacramento area, especially rock. I love to go see live bands in bars. My radio is on constantly, and I even sing a my car, with the stereo blasting loud enough I cant hear myself lol.

When I buy concert tickets, I always buy 2. I try to be optimistic lol. But most of the time I end up giving the one away in the parking lot to the first random cute girl I see...Love to see the look on their faces lol.

I have seen Metallica once (awesome, got right next to the stage), Aerosmith several times, Shinedown do an awesome gig in a rock and roll bar in Sac, Poison and Whitesnake and Ozzfest...and several celtic bands also. One of the best concerts, and most expensive, was Fleetwood Mac...and I got stood up lol. 350$ to see them by myself lol...didnt care tho.

I love all kinds of music, from rock and metal, to celtic, to 80's hair bands and new age, some folk from the sixties and seventies...My 300 cd collection includes Enya and Metallica, LOTR soundtracks and Dead Can Dance and Kansas...just dont make me listen to country lol (though do have a weird fetish for John Denver).
