I hate my new cell phone. When I have no reception, I always miss calls and end up pissing off many people when I don’t respond. It’s really not my fault. I never know if someone’s calling/called me until I see that I have a new voice message. I’m currently using T-Mobile, but I want to change my service provider… I was thinking of switching over to Verizon, but I’m not sure. We’ll see.
Anyways, enough of that, I’m at home for the long weekend. I’ve been here since Thursday night, and I probably won’t be back in Berkeley until Monday morning. It’s nice to see my parents every now and then. They can drive me crazy on occasion, but I’m always conscious of the debt I owe them. I’ve done my best to please them and to make sure that they have no cause to be ashamed of me. Honestly, I don’t know why I feel this way–it’s not like I’m an adopted child afraid of being tossed out. You know what, it might be due to my parents’ age and health. My mom’s a little over sixty and I can’t remember a time when she wasn’t on medication or hospitalized for one ailment or another. My dad’s younger than my mom, but he’s got problems with his blood pressure and a history of strokes in his family. Growing up with frail parents like that, it’d be hard to be as rebellious and headstrong as most children… which probably explains my need for a bit of wildness in my life and the contradictory facets of my character.
I’m writing this to let anyone who cares understand who I am. I hope I haven’t bored anyone… but then again, if you’re bored, an easy way to remedy this would be to not read.
Moving on… So, I was hoping someone would explain to me the purpose of an “Invitation to Join a Network.” What is the purpose of joining a network? I’ve been ignoring all these so far because I don’t know why I need to join networks. Is it some sort of Friendster-like thing?

Joining another's friend network permits you to view the inviter's photos, including private albums. If you have any private albums, they will also be visible to those in your network. |
Your blogs are so thoughtful and well-written! Thanks for sharing your personal thoughts, dreams and history.
You're absolutely adorable, Honey and I hope you accept my invitation and get in touch soon!
