Dream Job

Good Morning everyone. I was thinking as I was drifting off to sleep last night about where I stand at this point of my life. For those of you who do not know me, I will give a brief background. I am a part owner in a Kitchen Remodeling company. I design, sell, and remodel kitchens for the individual consumer market. I love what I do, but just cannot help but think that this is just a stepping stone to what I really want to do. My dream job would be to own the Chicago Cubs. There are so many things that I could do to market the Cubbies better and provide the Fan with a much better experience. I would settle owning any Major League Baseball team, but I would prefer the Cubbies! What would your dream job be, and why would you want that job? What would be the most fulfilling job for you?

I like you dream job, but you don't have to own them to market them, I suggest you make up your marketing proposal and then photograph it all and then send a copy to the cubbies, who knows you might get closer to your dream job.
my dream job would be a marijuana farmer, where it is legal. they have to make alot a money from the sales and all they have to do is throw seeds in the ground and then wait a few month to collect the cash. I really know nothing about it, but sounds easy to me.

One of my passions is baseball as well - I've always dreamed of owning the Cincinnati Reds.

i guess my ultimate dream job would be to work in advertising, but only if i could be the sexy powerful women with the huge office. always in tailored business suits driving my mercedes Benz with the top down. i don't actually want to go for it though cause i don't want to be away from home all the time. plus i don't think i have the stone cold bitch personality for it, and don't think i want to develop it either. i started training as a nurse but now thinking of teaching.

humm i have to start thinking of how we want our kitchen. we are building a house in 2 months yay.

You know what my dream job is. I want to be an Event Planner for a top notch Country Club or Corporation. It's my passion and I am great at it. I also told you about being offered the job doing Event Planning for the U.S. House of Reps...It's ashame that I wasn't in the position to take it at the time.

You also know that I have a love of baseball...It was sooo much fun being the Private Suites Manager for the Carolina Mudcats, the
Double-A affiliate of the Florida Marlins. I had a wonderful time when I was working for the team...I was able to have the best of both of my worlds...event planning for the fans as well as being at the park and enjoying the games.

Anyway, you know that I am on a search right now for my DREAM JOB...that is at the top of my list. I won't stop searching until I find it, and I won't put a limit to where it may take me.

Wishing you luck in one day finding and fulfilling your dream! I know you, and I know it will happen!

Love ya!

I ain't into baseball, but I suppose your dreams are yours (thank GOD.) *lol*

On to the question at hand... I think I'd just like to be wealthy; monetarily wealthy. That would provide all the fulfillment I never received from most every job I've ever had. Yeah... wealthy. That's my dream job! ( And don't give me any crap about having to work for it - been there; done that; don't cut it. The only work I wanna do is improving my TAN! )

Solar...(on a wing, and a prayer)

At your age, you shouldn't be working at all. Stop working for money and have your money work for you. Thanks for dropping by mate, we are 24/7 here, fresh coffee as always.

I have been retired for a year now and am bored with it. I miss the drive a great job gives me. I miss the long hours and the self imposed competition to always be the best I can be. The worst part is .... that was my dream job I retired from. I hated it when I started. Dreaded every moment the decision to take the position. Now I want it back again. Well not right this minute but yes in the very near future I intend to get it back.

Someday is today.
